Rachel Millar

Artistic Director

Rachel was born and bred in Stafford and caught the musical and performing bug from her Father, who has been part of the local theatre scene for the past 40 years!

Starting with dance shows and school performances, Rachel then made her way through the ranks of the County Music Service, joining the county Junior Choir and progressing to the County Youth Choir. Stafford Operatic Society became her next port of call where she took lead roles in their shows and then began directing for the society.

Rachel has a passion for music and performing and enjoys developing the performance skills of both children and adults.

Rachel is our resident Ukulele expert, delivering individual and group tuition on this fun instrument and runs "ALL ABOUT UKE", Staffordshire's largest Ukulele Band who play regularly for events and special performances.

Aside from working as part of ARTZ delivering music and performing arts within the local community, Rachel has been as a professional director and choreographer for local theatre groups for over a decade, with many theatrical credits in her ever increasing portfolio!
